He is committed to fostering greater respect for cultural diversity by creating safe spaces within the school system for all, giving a stronger voice to Parent Advisory Councils, continuing the support of community neighborhood schools, and increasing support services for vulnerable youth.
In addition, Ken’s employment and volunteer experiences have given him direct opportunities to work with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities and allowed him to be a voice on issues of health, affordable housing and social justice issues.
