Rob Wynen is a career health professional with a commitment to health and recreation as part of an educational foundation.

In both his career as a health and lifestyle consultant and in his volunteer activities, Rob has worked to promote student health.

Rob’s community work includes founding and leading the West End Residents Association where he worked on advocacy for cycling, pedestrian safety, park redesign, and developing the first community garden in the downtown core. He served on the boards of Better Environmentally Sound Transportation, the Pedestrian Action Coalition and as chair of the Lord Nelson Parent Advisory Committee. He has also been chair of the city’s Bicycle Advisory Committee.

Rob is experienced with public processes related to community facilities, including budgeting, design, and policy-making. Rob is an avid bike commuter and gardener, an electronic music deejay, kayaker and bee keeper.
