ON-CALL OFFICE SUPPORT

We are currently seeking people to join our On-Call Office Support pool to work in our very busy district and provide support to various departments and schools.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Grade 12 plus up to three (3) years post-secondary education and up to four (4) years related experience
  • Must be able to meet the VSB standard for the following assessments: Keyboarding speed (45+ net wpm), MS Word and MS Excel (average +65%), Accounting, mail merge, current email and internet
  • Knowledge and experience in Accounting
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain the Occupational First Aid - level 2 certificate
  • Adapt to various working environments
  • Ability to communicate orally and written in a second language is an asset and may be required in certain positions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be flexible and accept assignments on short notice

Candidates must be available to work Monday to Saturday (day and evening shifts).

Hourly Rate:

Office Support A - $19.04
Office Support B - $21.89
Office Support C - $25.08

plus 18.2% or 12.2% in lieu of benefits, if applicable
