Board and committee meeting schedule for Monday, January 12

A meeting of the Finance & Legal Committee (Committee V) will be held in Committee Room 110 of the Education Centre, 1580 West Broadway on Monday, January 12, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The agenda includes the 2009-2010 budget timeline/process and an update on the 2008-2009 budget.

A special meeting of the Board of Education Trustees of School District No. 39 (Vancouver) will be held in the Board Room (Room 114) of the Education Centre, 1580 West Broadway on Monday, January 12, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting's only agenda item is the report of the combined Committees I and III meeting about the Foundation Skills Assessment test, and matters arising from that report.

A meeting of the Education and Student Services Committee (Committee III) will be held in Committee Room 120 of the Education Centre, 1580 West Broadway on Monday, January 12, starting at 7 p.m. (immediately following the special board meeting being held at 6:30 p.m.)

The Committee III agenda includes a delegation concerning Vietnamese language course; Board-approved courses; and B.C. School Trustee Association motions.
