BCG: School Attorney (Legal Counsel)

The Board of School Trustees (the “Board”) shall retain the services of in-house legal counsel who shall advise the Board on legal matters and represent the Board in actions brought by or against the Board. 

In some cases, the Board may engage a legal firm or the City's legal department to advise or represent the Board when a particular kind of legal expertise is needed.
