DFEA: Free and Reduced-Price Admissions

Community Education Services will admit senior citizens to Board of School Trustees (the “Board”) adult education courses, with the exception of shared-cost programs and secondary school completion courses, at a reduction of 50% of the instructional fee. 

Individual schools may decide to issue senior citizen discount cards or admit senior citizens to student activities (sports events, performances, etc.) free or at reduced prices. 

These discounts are a small token of appreciation from the school system for the contributions senior citizens have made to the schools over the years.
