GDB Agreements negotiated with employee groups will be in writing and will state the length of time the agreement is in force.
These agreements will be approved by the Superintendent of Schools, or his/her designate, and signed by both parties.
It is the practice of the Board of School Trustees (the “Board”) to negotiate agreements with recognized representatives of various support staff groups. These negotiated agreements are considered appendices to this policy manual and have the full power of Board policy for as long as they are in force.
In addition to the Operating Engineers Agreement currently in force, many duties and responsibilities of engineer-custodians are contained in the Handbook for Engineer-Custodians.
