In anticipation of possible vacancies, applications are invited for positions noted above.

 Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • B.C. Professional Teaching Certificate;
  • A minimum 5 years successful teaching experience;
  • Principal candidates must have completed a Master’s degree program;
  • Vice-Principal candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a Master’s degree program (verification required), and
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of computers for administrative purposes.
  • Applicants for the Adult Education Principal position who are currently principals in the Vancouver School District will be considered for secondment.

  • Demonstrate emotional competency in motivating, problem solving and social behaviours with others.

1.  Complete Application Form (if you are applying for more than one position, a separate application is  required for each).

2.  Confidential Reference Form:

  • Please give the Confidential Reference Form to one of your references to complete. This person must know you in a work context (preferably your immediate supervisor) and be able to attest to your ability to do the job for which you are applying. 
  • Please have your referee return the form by mail or hand delivery on or before the closing date for applications, in an envelope marked “Confidential Reference Form” to:

3.  Resumes and any relevant supporting documentation (e.g. letters of reference or your most recent evaulation). Transcripts and certificates are not required and should not be included.
