Before you enroll your child, explore the available options that may suit your child’s needs. Vancouver School Board (VSB) offers a wide variety of educational choices for students from Kindergarten to grade 12 as well as adult education through our Continuing and International Education department.

For students in K-12 there are programs such as Montessori, French immersion, Mandarin bilingual, mini-schools, fine and performing arts programs, sports academies, career programs, gifted enrichment education, and an outdoor school, to name just a few options. Our district programs are designed to provide innovative learning experiences for students both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Vancouver School Board follows the BC Ministry of Education's provincially prescribed curriculum for K-12.  For more information please talk to your school or visit the Ministry of Education website at www.bced.gov.bc.ca  Go to For Students and then click Curriculum under the listing Programs and Services for Students.

We invite you to explore our programs section by clicking on the tabs which have been organized by student group.
