Continuing Education offers courses and programs that are affordable, accessible and responsive to your learning needs.

In 1907, the Vancouver School Board started providing continuing education classes for adults. Over the years, adult program offerings have been adapted to the changing educational needs and interests of the community.

Continuing Education offers courses and programs that are affordable, accessible and responsive to your learning needs. When you participate in a Continuing Education course you indeed ‘Learn with a Friend’. There are Lifelong Learning opportunities for everyone, so invite a friend and join in!

VSB Continuing Education Programs

Programs for Children

  • Saturday Zone
  • Mandarin Language School for Kids

Adult Education

  • Academic courses for students 16 years and up. Students can earn credits under the BC Ministry of education secondary curriculum which count toward their secondary school diploma.

Summer School

  • A large range of educational programs in July and August for students from Kindergarten to grade 12.

International Education

  • Provides students from outside Canada the opportunity to be integrated in our regular Kindergarten to grade 12 system.
