The Vancouver School Board's International Education Program gives students from outside of canada the opportunity to study at a local school, to graduate with a Grade 12 diploma, or to study at summer school.

Vancouver schools offer a culturally rich cross-section of students, instructors and counsellors who contribute to the high quality of education in our schools.

The Vancouver School District has many years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) students to acquire English language skills successfully.

  • Live in the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver, Canada
  • Study in one of our excellent schools offering courses in academics, fine arts, technology, languages, and athletics 
  • Enjoy homestay with welcoming local families

Apply to the Vancouver School Board (VSB) International Education Program to study at a local school for:

  • an academic year
  • several years in order to graduate from a Canadian high school
  • summer school in July and August
  • September - June school year
  • grades 8-12 (ages 13 and over) secondary school full-time study
  • grades 1-7 (ages 6-12) elementary school full-time study
  • grades 10-12 (age 18 and over) adult high schools
  • excellent academic programs leading to B.C. high school graduation
  • ESL instruction available

Apply now for January or February 2010 entry.  Limited spaces are available according to grade level.
