Distributed Learning at Vancouver Learning Network - Elementary

VLN-E provides complete programs with a flexible work schedule for students who are travelling, participating in additional training, or working at home.

Early French Immersion: K-7

The Vancouver School Board early French Immersion program accepts 5 and 6 year olds at the beginning of their formal schooling.  Application form.

Early Mandarin Bilingual

Parents of Kindergarten-aged students who are interested in the new Early Bilingual Mandarin program starting in September 2012 may register their children for the program beginning on November 1, 2011.

Gifted/Enrichment Education

Comprehensive programming for gifted learners from Kindergarten - Grade 12 - early entrance to University.

Home Learners Program at Garibaldi Annex

The Garibaldi Home Learners’ Program provides choice and flexibility for children and parents to partner with the public education system in designing learning experiences that are unique to every family.

The School Act permits parents to provide an educational program for their children at home.

Intensive French Grade 6 and 7

Intensive French is a second language teaching approach in which French is taught intensively for most of the day over five months during Grade 6.
