The Vancouver Board of Education, the Aboriginal Communities and the Ministry of Education continue to work together to improve the educational experiences for Aboriginal students.

VLN-E provides complete programs with a flexible work schedule for students who are travelling, participating in additional training, or working at home.

The Garibaldi Home Learners’ Program provides choice and flexibility for children and parents to partner with the public education system in designing learning experiences that are unique to every family.

Intensive French is a second language teaching approach in which French is taught intensively for most of the day over five months during Grade 6.
