To assist young people in developing structure and determination and purpose as they re-think their life stories in relation to the real effects of alcohol and drugs on their lives.

Program Objectives

To assist young people in developing structure and determination and purpose as they re-think their life stories in relation to the real effects of alcohol and drugs on their lives.

Individualized Education programs in one or two subject areas to facilitate residence re-entry to a school program following the students stay at PEAK house.

Fitness three times a week; attendance at local recreation centre for group and individualized athletic activities; art: weekly program at photography and other art activities.

Referral Process

Prospective residents complete an application with the referring counsellor. Applications and individuals are then reviewed and forwarded to referring agency.

Exit Criteria and Follow up

During the final two weeks, residence in collaboration with staff, complete an “After Care Plan” which is forwarded to referring agency.

The referring agency, using the After Care Plan and a completion letter drafted by the resident and their therapist, maintains the recommended follow up procedures.
