School Year Calendar
The Vancouver School Board has adopted a new local school calendar for the 2010-2011 school year that cancels early dismissal days and extends the instructional day to allow schools to close 10 additional days.
The local school calendar:
- Establishs consistent school start and end times – see school bell times
- Provides for a two week Spring Break
- Provides for four four-day weekends throughout the school year
- Eliminates the use of the early dismissal day
Please note: The local school calendar for 2011-2012 will be developed in Spring 2011 and may differ from the 2010-2011 calendar.
