School Renewal Update:
Overview of Kitchener Elementary School renewal:
The original wood frame building will be upgraded for school use; design is underway for a replacement school. The school will be constructed at the southwest corner of existing playground. At the completion of the project, the school will have a capacity of 60 full-day kindergarten spaces and 450 grade 1 - 7 student spaces. Additional areas will be included for Neighbourhood of Learning and Early Childhood Education initiatives.
