All applications must be received on or before the closing date indicated on the job posting. Only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted/acknowledged. Faxed resumes will not be accepted.
How to Apply for the Support Staff On-Call List
External Applicants:
Effective September 1, 2008, the Vancouver Board of Education posts positions that are open to external candidates through Make a Future-Careers in B.C. Education, at www.makeafuture.ca/vancouver. This includes on-call support positions and permanent vacancies of a specialized nature.
The Make a Future-Careers in BC Education site is powered by applytoeducation.com. Applicants who already have an account set up with applytoeducation can use their existing username and password to log into www.makeafuture.ca.
Please note that candidates who choose to apply on-line at www.makeafuture.ca do not need to fill out a paper application or mail /courier any follow up information to the Vancouver Board of Education.
Although applying through www.makeafuture.ca/vancouver is the preferred method of applying,we are still accepting paper applications submitted directly to the Vancouver Board of Education, Human Resources Division, or by email to the appropriate "hiring" email as listed on this website.
Only those selected for interviews will be contacted /acknowledged.
