Board begins Superintendent/CEO Search
The Vancouver School Board has begun the search for a new superintendent/CEO. The Board will work with an executive search firm to help shape and implement the recruitment process. An announcement about the executive search firm will be made in early June.
Recruitment of a superintendent/CEO is the responsibility of the elected Board in accordance with the School Act and Board Policy 2. A steering committee of four trustees, supported by the District’s secretary-treasurer and other senior staff, will oversee the work of the executive search firm. The decision about a successful candidate will be determined by the full Board.
