Vote for the BC Green Games

Vancouver School Board students have joined others from across the province to creatively showcase their school's green efforts for the 2011 BC Green Games.

BC Green Games is a province-wide competition for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12, designed to motivate action, enable sharing and reward and celebrate the green efforts of schools in BC.

Students, parents and other community members can go to the BC Green Games site, register (they will need an e-mail address to confirm their registration), and then log in to vote for up to five projects.  If students, teachers and parents have previously registered to vote on BC Green Games, they do not need to register again.  They can log in using the information provided last year.

Choose your favourite five projects in the BC Green Games gallery for the K-7 and 8-12 Viewer's Choice awards.

Winners will be announced in early April, with all participants receiving a celebration package and ideas for Earth Day celebration, and 10 winners from K-7 and 10 winners from 8-12 schools will receive $1000.

There are more than 160 projects this year from across the Province including schools in Northern BC, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan.

Check out the entries: BC Green Games Gallery and vote for your favourite five projects!
