District Cross Country Meet Draws Record Number of Runners

This year the VSB's District Cross Country Meet had a record turnout of 3,005 elementary school runners. Organizers say this far surpasses the usual high participation rates of previous years. The event took place at Trout Lake. Students could be seen throughout the afternoon of Thursday October 25 jogging around the park's lake at high speeds.

Organizers say a big thank you goes out to everyone (parents, coaches, teachers and community members) who made the event possible. Below are the race's rankings.
