As summer vacation approached this year, 19 Grade 6 students from Lord Beaconsfield Elementary decided to leverage technology and play a leadership role in their school by producing a short video entitled "Words". The introductory video was the brainchild of Kristina Wilting, one of the school's resource teachers and an advocate of using technology to support learning.

Greg Barnes, the school's principal, says the production took roughly two days to storyboard and shoot, plus additional time to edit. He says it provides a terrific opportunity to grow the school's reputation in the community.

Wilting was supported in the video development by her son Erik Wilting, who is a digital marketing consultant and video producer.
