Norquay Student Carpenters Construct School Planter Boxes with Help from Tupper Tech

Norquary Grade 6 students got a crash course in carpentry from Tupper Tech teacher Russ Evans on October 30. During a two day project, the elementary students, cut and hammered together six garden planter boxes, which have been placed on a freshly laid gravel pad. The whole project was made possible by the Toyota Evergreen program which was pursued by two parents, Valerie Kao and Lisa Penny.

To celebrate the new planters, Norquay parents and the garden committee developed a short video showcasing the kids in action.
