Queen Alexandra Enjoys Calgary-Style Song and Dance

On Thursday, November 27 Queen Alexandra Elementary was visited by Calgary Grey Cup enthusiasts who were there to get the students into the "Grey Cup spirit" through energetic dances and sing-alongs.

Roughly 190 students from K-7 attended the performance.

During the event, students donned paper cowboy hats and danced up a storm to the country music of the live country band High Steppin' Daddy. Shy students were led to the front of the room by volunteers, rodeo clowns and the group's most popular member - mascot Charlie Horse.
