King George City School Student Rappels Down Shaw Tower

On Thursday, April 16, Jade Nawata, a Grade 11student at City School at King George Secondaryexpanded her comfort zone by rappelling nineteen floors down Vancouver's Shaw Tower. This exploit was in aid of Outward Bound Canada who hope to raise up to $75,000 to support of their Urban Youth Programs in Vancouver.  

City School raised over $1500 with Jade as the school's standard bearer. She has long been active with CircusWest's Cirkids programs. Jade hopes to join Cirque du Soleil after graduating next year.
