Selkirk VP Doug Roch Wins Masters Thesis Award

VSB Vice Principal Douglas Roch has won the most recent Canadian Association for the Study of Educational Administration (CASEA) Margret Haughey Award for his Masters of Arts thesis in educational leadership.

The award recognizes the author of the best masters thesis in the area of educational administration and leadership completed at a Canadian university in the previous year.

Roch's graduate work focussed on the ways in which teachers construct a sense of collegiality and how this relates to both distributed leadership and the spaces in which they work.

The thesis was completed at UBC and the award was presented at the most recent CASEA annual meeting in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
