Jamieson Elementary Gets a Visit from Beat-Boxing String Trio Infinitus

Recently the students at Dr. Annie. B. Jamieson Elementary were treated to a fun and inspiring concert by the beat-boxing string trio, "Infinitus." These talented musicians put on a great interactive show for our K-7 students. One of the highlights of the show was when violinist John Littlejohn asked the school's 484 students, "How many of you play the violin or cello?"

To his complete and utter surprise the majority of children in the room raised their hands. That's because the school has one of the largest string orchestra of its kind in Canada with over 270 intermediate students playing either the violin, cello or bass.
