Vancouver Technical Secondary won CLICK's 2017 tug-of-war championship at the annual Pulling for Inner City Kids Tug-of-War Competition.
The event held in the Vancouver Technical Secondary School gymnasium is part of Inner City Kids Week organized by CLICK (Contributing to Lives of Inner City Kids), which aims to raise awareness of the extent of child poverty.
The day kicked off with a tug-of-war competition between members of the VPD and students, after which the true competition kicked off between schools.
Each team was joined by a member of the VPD and the competition was fierce. It came down to Van Tech and reigning champions Britannia Secondary. Van Tech took home the trophy, but there were smiles all around.
