The Vancouver School Board supports the use of schools by non-profit, community and commercial groups provided it does not impact the delivery of Kindergarten to Grade 12 programs. Schools and other district programs have first priority in the use of facilities.
Rental rates for all school facilities and grounds is established by the district and includes full cost-recovery of long and short term capital and operating costs.
District facilities available for rental include:
- Multipurpose rooms
- Specialty rooms (i.e. libraries, music rooms)
- School parking lots
- Playing fields
School facilities are typically available after 5:00 pm on school days and on weekends. There is an additional fee for custodial services on weekends and outside regular custodial hours on weekdays.
All requests to book facilities in the district are handled through the Rentals Department. Please complete and submit an application forms by email to email@example.com. A rental contract will be provided upon approval. Please note that rental bookings are only arranged for the current school year.
