Learning Assistance Class

Program Description

Secondary Learning Assistance Classes (LAC) are designed for students who have mild intellectual disabilities (K designation). In general, students in these programs demonstrate delayed language, social skills and below average academic achievement. Students are timetabled into mainstream electives wherever possible and appropriate. Students are provided with instructional support at the appropriate level.  Students in this program typically earn an Evergreen Certificate or an Adult Dogwood Certificate.
