Fentanyl Crisis Forum

Community, Schools & Students

Vancouver parents and students who have questions about the ongoing opioid crisis are invited to participate in an important information and discussion forum taking place at John Oliver Secondary on May 9. Expert speakers will be on hand from Vancouver Coastal Health, the Vancouver Police Department, and the VSB’s School Age Children and Youth Substance Use Health Promotion Initiative. They will offer tips for talking to your kids (or your friends) about fentanyl, explain how to spot the signs of an overdose and how to use naloxone, and they'll outline how you can take action in your community to address this urgent issue.

The Fentanyl Crisis Forum happens at John Oliver Secondary on Wednesday, May 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. No registration required.
