Our school has an active parent, student and family community working together for our children's education.
The PAC assists with:
- School policy, fundraising and extra-curricular projects
- Social activities such as Family BBQs, Pancake Breakfasts and Movie
- Monthly hot lunches providing students with a nutritious & affordable

A Message from Dr. A.R. Lord PAC
Dear Parents and
Every family connected to A. R. Lord Elementary School is part
of our school’s community. How that community takes care of its members is up to
all of us!
Each parent or guardian of a student enrolled at A. R. Lord
Elementary School is automatically part of our school's PAC. As soon as your
child is part of the school, you are part of the PAC.
What is a
PAC stands for Parent Advisory Council. PAC is the officially
recognized collective voice of parents of their school. PACs are the forum
within each school community to discuss matters affecting your school and the
education of your children.
A PAC may advise the school board, the
principal and staff of the school respecting any matter relating to the school.
Parents are encouraged and invited to bring forth issues,
suggestions, or concerns relating to the needs of your school community.
These issues can be brought forth by:
• contacting a
PAC executive member directly
• sending a letter to the school addressed to
the PAC executive
• attending a PAC meeting
Dr. A. R. Lord
Elementary School's PAC would like to extend an invitation to you as parents and
guardians to get involved with your school. Being an active part of the PAC is a
wonderful opportunity to meet other parents, become part of a great school
community and make a difference to the quality of your children’s education.
Regular PAC meetings are held once per month, at 6:30pm in the school
library. Free child minding is available on site during meeting times. All
parent/guardians are welcome to attend any PAC meeting.
