Dr. A. R. Lord library is located on the upper floor of the school. It has a wide range of resources to support the school curriculum. Students are encouraged to read and borrow both fiction and non-fiction books. Also located in the school library is the main interactive whiteboard for use by all staff and students.
Library News
News from the AR Lord library! We have just received a set of 40 beautifully-made books from Strong Nations Publishers out of Nanaimo, B.C.. Students will enjoy learning about a variety of Indigenous cultures, stories and non-fiction works, all written by Indigenous authors. Come by and take a look!
I would like to acknowledge with gratitude the purchase of over $200 worth of books for the AR Lord Library by teacher, Dawn Watson. Thank you, Ms Watson, for donating your Scholastic book points and paying for 12 new Social/Emotional Learning book titles for the library collection! Those books will be arriving in the coming weeks!
