All teachers at Edith Cavell are involved in year two of the VSB's Communicating Student Learning Pilot. This means that instead of three written report cards, parents and guardians are provided with more on-going feedback throughout the year. This may take the form of digital platforms such as Fresh Grade, celebrations of learning, interim reports, teacher emails, or other methods. In addition, students will receive two written progress reports per year - one at the end of January, the second at the end of June.
Teachers at Edith Cavell are actively involved in inquiry groups about assessment and learning. All students at Cavell benefit from their curiosity and professional engagement.
