Bike to School Week May 31st to June 4th - Bike to School Week is an annual celebration where we encourage students of all ages to bike, roll, or walk to school. The event includes the third annual Bike Reels Student Video contest, where students are encouraged to film a 60-90 second film. Students of all ages and abilities can take part. The event is a great way to enhance green initiatives already happening at our school, build community, and highlight the benefits of active transportation - like less congestion and healthy, energized students! We have bike stands to lock your bike up by the playground and off of Nanaimo Street.
Routine Childhood Immunization information from VCH – Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 9
Immunizations within the school setting and at Public Health offices are currently on hold due to the demands of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, immunizations for routine vaccine preventable illnesses are important and we encourage children to be immunized on schedule through their Family Physicians and select pharmacies. Please see the link below for a list of participating pharmacies in Vancouver: http://www.vch.ca/public-health/communicable-diseases-immunizations/immunizations/school-age- immunization-campaign.
Please see the attachment for more information from VCH about Vision, Hearing, Dental and other youth services for your child.
