Summer School Registration

If you are interested in registering your child for a VSB summer school program, please see the attached catalogue of available classes.  You can find your child’s PEN number here for registration.

Vancouver Public Library Summer Book Club

The Summer Reading Club is back! The BC Summer Reading Club is FREE and starts at the Vancouver Public Library on June 14. Registration will be online (https://bcsrc.ca/) but kids can come into the library as well to receive a reading record and to collect their medal at the end of the summer! The Summer Reading Club is a reading incentive program designed to help kids stay excited about reading over the summer. It also invites them to explore other types of literacies and find ways to participate that best meet their needs.

Additionally, kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun library activities over the summer. This year we will be providing virtual programs over Zoom and hopefully some distanced outdoor options as well.   For resources and more information about the BC SRC, please visit the library’s website (vpl.ca/kids) the BC SRC staff website (https://bcsrc.ca/staff/) or the  BC SRC Kids’ website (bcsrc.ca). If you have more questions about the program, here is a helpful video to explain what it’s all about and how to register: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLZIshAvzh4
