Covid-19 Health and Safety
Grade 4-7 families, please ensure your child is bringing their mask to school and all families, please remind your children of the importance of maximizing physical distance and minimizing physical touch as we continue to do our best to take care of ourselves, take care of each other and take care of our space during this challenging time. Hastings Elementary School Street Pilot – Volunteers Needed
The Hastings School Street Pilot is running from April 12 to May 7, before school from 8:40 am to 9:10 am and after school from 2:40 pm to 3:10 pm. For information regarding the Hastings Elementary School Streets Pilot or if you’d like to help with the pilot as a volunteer, click HERE.
Not Returning to Hastings for 2021-2022?
If your child(ren) will not be returning to Hastings for the 2021-2022 school year, please email email@example.com to let us know. Families of grade 7 students do not need to let us know their child(ren) will not be returning.
Hastings Library Book Diversity Drive
Remember to get your book suggestions in for the Hastings Library Diversity Book Drive! We want to make sure that our school library reflects the diversity of our Hastings community. So if there's a particular book or topic that you'd like to see in our library, make sure to tell us by filling in this form.
Lost and Found
Look for the rolling lost and found trolley outside the school on nice days.
- The photo contest theme for April is sports. Students and staff are encouraged to submit photos of sports to the April Photo Contest Entries folder in the All Students team.
Wednesday April 21
- PAC General Meeting (April) - The Hastings PAC April General Meeting will be Wednesday, April 21 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm online. Visit the Hastings PAC website for more information and a link to the meeting.
Thursday April 22
- Earth Day - The Hastings student leaders invite everyone in the school to think about their favourite colours of the earth (the blue of the sky or the green of the leaves or the bright yellow daffodils) and wear that colour on Earth Day.
Monday April 26
- District Pro D Day – No school for students
