VSB Library: Free Online Tools for
Checking Your Library
I encourage all
students to check their school library account on a regular basis. This helps
students to keep track of their library books.
By checking your
account, you can find out:
books and how many you have checked out.
your books are due.
you have any lost or overdue books.
you can create lists of books that you are interested in and put holds on books
that you would like to borrow.
To access your
account, follow these steps:
Go to https://library.vsb.bc.ca.
Click on “Log In” at the top right corner.
Type your MyEdBC number ___________________ in
the box beside “User Name” then type your password ___________________.
Click on the “Log In” button then click on the “My Info” tab.
Click on the “Logout” button when you are done.
Searching for Books
Using VSB Library
You can use VSB
Library to search for books in our library. You can search:
· By logging
in then clicking on “Catalog”.

The Vancouver School
Board provides all students with access to a “digital library” filled with
databases, e-books, and video services. (A database is an organized collection
of information; an e-book is an electronic book). Students can find information
to do research and complete assignments, read and interact with e-books, and
watch educational videos.

Login then make sure you are on the “Home” tab.
Click on the name of the electronic resource you want to use.
