The PAC is the Parent Advisory Council. It is a voluntary organization that works with the teachers, staff and administration to enrich the school through activities, fundraising and feedback.
Do I have to sign up for the PAC?
As a parent or guardian of a child at L'École Bilingue (LEB) you are automatically a member of the PAC. You do not have to fill in any forms or pay any membership fees.
How is the PAC organized?
PAC activities are administered through an Executive Committee and sub-committees led by parent volunteers, who coordinate a wide variety of programs and activities that your children can access at L'École Bilingue.
How often does the PAC meet?
We meet on the first Monday every month in the school library at 7:00 pm. Every second month, we try to have speaker on various topics such as “Internet Safety and Our Children”, “Supporting Your Child’s Learning” or “Developing Financial Literacy”. Please make sure to check the calendar [link] for specific dates. These meetings are very informative and we encourage all to attend and participate in your school.
How can I get more involved in the PAC?
If you can't make it to the meetings there are many volunteer opportunities on committees. Volunteers are welcome and needed, and volunteering is a great way to contribute to the school and to meet other children and parents.
We hope to see you at a PAC meeting soon!
