Songs Are Our Medicine: Everyone invited to join healing songs in honour of the 215 children whose remains were found at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School site

Songs and singing are deeply important within Indigenous communities. Everyone is invited to listen, reflect, join and witness virtually in healing songs led by Davita Marsden from the Indigenous Education Department at the Vancouver School District on Wednesday, June 9 at 11:10 am as a way to come together and to heal with one another. It will be streamed at and will run about 20 minutes. It is dedicated to the 215 children and families of the Secwépmc and Nlaka’pamux peoples.
