Remembering...Artwork by Div. 12
Dear Laurier families,
We hope you found the November parent teacher conferences meaningful and you had a chance to discuss your child's performance with their classroom teachers. If you have any feedback or questions, please do not hesitate to contact your classroom teachers or myself at school.
Let's Not Forget
On November 10th at 11am, we had a school-wide virtual Remembrance Day Assembly with student performances and time to reflect on the importance of solving problems in peaceful ways. At Laurier, we will continue to be Supportive, Open-minded, Awesome and Respectful. Please find below some information on Indigenous Veteran Day:

Dress For The Weather
With the weather getting colder and with many rain days, we are reminding our families to send their children to school with warm clothes and everything they need throughout the school day to stay safe, healthy and productive, such as snack, lunch, water bottle and school materials.
How to dress kids for cold weather? Think of layering as a sandwich: Base Layer, Mid-Layer, Outer Layer! Make sure they have hats, gloves, boots and warm coats every day when walking to and from school and for playing outside during recess and lunch breaks. Please send your child(ren) with a spare change of clothes in their backpack.
-Hot Lunch Cutlery Reminder: Please remember to send cutlery with your student(s) on hot lunch days for orders that require forks, spoons, etc.
-Purdy’s Chocolates order deadline reminder: Reminder that this Saturday, November 13 is your last day to place an order for your Purdy's Chocolates. Don't forget that we get 25% back in fundraising profits from every sale; and this year we're fundraising to support the Earthbites garden program and the funding we give to each classroom. Please check the links to individual classes in the school email or on PAC website.
Tuesday, November 16: Retake Photo Day in the morning
