Black History Month in Canada provides an opportunity to share and learn about the experiences, contributions and achievements of Black Canadians. Students and staff have been engaged in a variety of activities to celebrate and honour the legacy of Black Canadians, past and present. Check out the displays in the front foyer and art installations throughout our hallways.
- Grade 9-12 Art Studio and Graphic 11&12 students worked in creating art installations for over twenty doors around the school.
- Leadership 8 class has been working with Ruby Smith Diaz from Tierra Negra Arts in a 7 workshop series, titled STILL HERE: Black Histories & Futures. This included a field trip to Hogan's Alley (documented in a display outside our Library).
