Laura Secord School Plan

School Details

All-day Kindergarten
Laura Secord offers an early French Immersion track from K-7 and a late French Immersion track from Grade 6-7.

School Renewal Update:

Currently there is detailed design work underway for the seismic upgrade and construction at Laura Secord.

Plans are for the existing main classroom block to be seismically upgarded for school use; the existing basement area will be abandoned and the small gym/activity room will be demolished. At the completetion of the project, the school will have a capacity of 80 full-day kindergarten spaces, and 625 grade 1 - 7 student spaces. Additional areas will be provided for Neighbourhood of Learning and Early Childhood Education initiatives.
