2025-2026 Welcome Back To School!!

Dear Parents, Guardians, and David Lloyd George Community,
Welcome to a new school year! We’re thrilled to begin another year of fun, learning, and growth together at David Lloyd George Elementary. The first week of school is always a special time—full of excitement and anticipation. Just as many children have been counting down the sleeps, our dedicated staff have been preparing classrooms and activities to make the first day a joyful and welcoming experience.
Kindergarten Families
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for all the love and care you’ve given your child over the past four years. Starting Kindergarten is a big milestone, and we are honoured that you’ve chosen David Lloyd George for this important journey. We deeply value your trust and look forward to partnering with you in your child’s education.
To help ease the transition, Kindergarten students will begin with a gradual entry. Your child’s teacher will have already reached out with details and next steps.

- For families who were part of the VSB Hot Lunch Program, this program will resume on Thursday, September 4th.
- Lunches will be eaten in classrooms or outdoors. Please send food that does not require heating. We also do not have utensils (forks/spoons) for student use.
Construction Notice
As part of the ongoing demolition of the former school building, please note the following changes to our site access and play areas:
- The Southside access points and the parking lot next to the old school are currently unavailable.
- Due to the demolition, our gravel field and some play areas have been reduced in size.
The contractors have worked hard to provide us with as much usable space as possible while prioritizing student and adult safety.
