The Vancouver School Board (VSB) is one of Canada’s most diverse and innovative public school districts, serving approximately 50,000 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 across a vibrant, multicultural city.

Our schools are located on the traditional, unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We are committed to creating inclusive, respectful learning environments where all students feel welcomed and supported.

A Diverse and Inclusive Learning Community

VSB reflects the diversity of Vancouver, with students from many cultural backgrounds and over 100 languages spoken across our schools. Students benefit from a global learning environment that promotes cross-cultural understanding, collaboration and mutual respect.

Schools and Learning Opportunities

The district operates over 100 schools, including elementary, secondary, adult education and distributed learning programs.

Students are supported through a wide range of academic programs, enrichment opportunities and learning services designed to meet diverse interests and needs.

Supporting Student Success

At VSB, we are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential—academically, socially and personally—through engaging learning experiences and a strong network of school and community supports.
