This important fundraiser helps us continue to grow and improve our library collection—thank you for your ongoing support! Thank you to Ms, Dhillon and Ms. Heap for organizing this event.
At the same time, our amazing PAC will be running a Cookie Sale right outside the library. Come for the books, stay for the cookies—two great reasons to drop by after school all week!

💗 Pink Shirt Day — Wednesday
This Wednesday, we invite all students to participate in Pink Shirt Day, a powerful reminder of our commitment to kindness and inclusivity.
Pink Shirt Day began in Nova Scotia in 2007, when students Travis Price and David Shepherd stood up for a peer who was bullied for wearing pink. They bought and distributed pink shirts, creating a wave of solidarity that has since grown into an international movement.
In 2011, DLG students helped spread the message of kindness by bringing Pink Shirt Day to a local mall—an inspiring moment we revisited in last Friday’s assembly.
Videos shown at the assembly:
Students can participate by wearing any amount of pink—a shirt, ribbon, or even a small splash of colour.
🌟 Wishing You a Wonderful Week!
