Nightingale Elementary are pleased to welcome Safer Schools Together who will be presenting to staff, students and parents this year. On our first professional development day in September, staff were the first group to have the presentation where we learned about the most recent trends in social media and ways to help students make responsible decisions while using the various platforms. We would like to thank the PAC for sponsoring the student and parent education sessions. Students in grades 4-7 will be learning about social media, digital citizenship and cyberbullying on Monday, October 23. They will come away from the session understanding the impact of the digital tattoo that they create when engaging with social media. The session on Wednesday, October 18 is for parents and will be from 7:00 - 9:00 via Zoom. Please see the flyer to register.
