At Selkirk, K-7 students reflected in preparation for Remembrance Day. Discussions of peace and what it means, of how war changed one's life from the past to the present, etc. We are grateful to Ms Moy Grade 6 students, Ms Zaitsoff/Rai-Dayal's Grade 1 students, and the members of our lunch time Glee Club lead by Mme LaMonde for the beautiful assembly held on Friday, November 10th. Throughout the school, there are poppies and peaceful reflections. We are sharing a few with this post from Ms Smiths' Grade 2 class, Ms Rylie's Kindergarten class as well as the giant poppies from Ms Moy's Grade 6 class.
