Lunar New Year is being celebrated in many ways around Selkirk. Many discussions around traditions, and art creations can be seen around the school. Big buddies from Ms Reeghan's class and little buddies from Ms Megan's class created two dragons: with cold and warm colours. Aren't they spectacular?! Today, we received two lion dances and learned more about how the lion dance came to be. We were grateful to be able to spend time together listening to the music and enjoying the dance. Thank you Ms Doris for connecting us with the dancers and musicians.
