Subject: Important Upcoming Dates and Events

Dear Mount Pleasant Elementary School Parents,

We hope this email finds you well. We wanted to inform you of some important upcoming dates to keep in mind for the next few weeks.

  1. January 22 - Professional Day:  On January 22, Mount Pleasant Elementary School will have a professional day where our dedicated staff will be engaged in learning and development activities. Please note that there will be no classes on this day. Kindly be aware that there was a mistake in some calendars, where this day was erroneously published as January 17.


  3. January Assemblies - Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.:  Throughout the month, our upcoming assemblies will focus on the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., who was born in January. We aim to inspire our students with his remarkable contributions to civil rights and equality.


  5. February 14 and 15 - Parent-Teacher Conferences (2 pm Early Dismissal):  Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for February 14 and 15. On these days, there will be a 2 pm early dismissal for students to facilitate these important discussions. We appreciate your active participation in your child's education.


  7. February 16 - Professional Day:  February 16 is designated as a professional day for our staff. As a result, there will be no classes for students on this day.


  9. February 19 - Family Day:  Please be aware that February 19 is Family Day, a statutory holiday across British Columbia. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to spend quality time together.
