Reporting Absences and Lates

Student safety is of paramount importance at the Vancouver School District and Mount Pleasant Elementary School.  Ensuring student safety is a shared responsibility.  In order to assist schools, we ask parents to notify schools of student absences. There are two ways to report your child's absence:

1. Call 604-713-5159 and use the school Code 57
2. Email mtpattendance@vsb.bc.ca with your child's name and division.

If your child is late to school, they will report to the office where they sign in with the time of arrival.  This will let the office know the child is present and there will be no need for a follow up phone call.
