On Tuesday, September 5th, all Grade 1- Grade 7 students, new and returning, attend school from 9am-10am.  Attendance on Tuesday is critical as we work to find space for newly registered students at our school.  If your child will not be attending on Tuesday, there are two ways to report your child(ren) being away from school: 

Phone: Please call - 604-713-5159 ext. 70 – prior to 9am and leave a message with your child(ren)’s full name, division or teacher, and dates of absence. 

Email: Please email - renattendance@vsb.bc.ca - prior to 9am and leave a message with your child(ren)’s full name, division or teacher, and dates of absence. 

If your child will not be returning to Renfrew, please email Janine Lamb at jlamb@vsb.bc.ca as soon as possible.   

Students new to Renfrew – please look for a sign located to the east of the blacktop area (basketball court) at the front of the school, adjacent to 22nd Avenue.  Please have your child line up behind the sign.  School staff will meet students and bring them into the school.  Please meet your child there at 10:00am. 

Students returning to Renfrew will meet last year’s teacher at last year’s meeting spot, with some exceptions noted below.  Students will be dismissed from the meeting spot at 10:00am.   

Kindergarten students – please follow the schedule received in June 2023.
